Carbide saw tips
K20 and K40 tungsten carbide tips for TCT circular saw blade re-tipping. Supplied in bulk packs. Carbide strip and blanks for strobe saw applications also stocked.
K20 or K40? K20 for clean dry timber and general wood cutting, harder edge, longer wear in abrasion. K40 for green timber, resinous wood, reclaimed timber or any application where tip impact is a risk, tougher, less likely to fracture on shock loading. Unsure? Call us and describe your application.

Standard hardness grade, 3mm body. Hardest of the two grades — best wear resistance in clean, dry timber cutting. Wide size range stocked.
Tough/impact resistant grade, 4mm body. Preferred for shock-load applications, large-diameter ripping, hardwoods and recycled timber. Wide size range stocked.

Silver solder, flux & Stellite
BrazeTec is the professional standard for TCT tip brazing. The same brand used by professional sharpening shops and blade manufacturers across Europe. We stock the full range of alloys, forms and flux. Deloro Stellite 12 stocked for impact-resistant tipping applications.
52% cobalt, 30% chromium, 9% tungsten, 1.8% carbon. 47–51 HRC. Tougher than carbide under impact, less brittle, more wear resistant than HSS. For hardwood species, green timber with silica, or anywhere nail/stone contact is a risk.

5.5×0.3mm trifoil strip for precise tip brazing, consistent filler volume per joint. Cadmium-free. Popular in production re-tipping.
D-21 borax-based flux powder for standard silver brazing. Special H paste flux for faster production application.
